Content creation · Short-form video

Content that travels.

We make short-form video for businesses in Sussex and across the UK. Not content that fills a calendar. Content built to be shown to people who have never heard of you.

Mucka is an AI assistant that runs the paperwork for UK tradespeople. A genuinely useful product, and no audience at all.

The economics of it

One shoot. Three platforms.

Every asset is cut for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok in the same session, so three channels grow on roughly the output of one. This is the part that makes consistency survive a busy month.

Mucka, across three channels. Reporting windows differ by platform and are stated on each figure. Nothing here was paid for.

Posting is not the same as being seen.

99.6%

of Mucka’s Instagram views came from people who had never followed the account. Content made for existing followers caps your reach before you have filmed a thing.

100%

of those views came from Reels. Stories accounted for zero. Everything that is not the format the platform pushes is a rounding error.

97.7%

of TikTok traffic came from the For You page. The feed does the distribution, so hooks have to be written for the algorithm rather than for an audience.

How we make it

Five things, every time.

None of this is clever. It is just done consistently, which is the part most businesses cannot sustain on their own.

  1. 01

Short form, and only short form

Vertical video is the one format that gets distributed. On Mucka’s Instagram, Reels accounted for 100% of views and Stories 0%. We stopped making anything else.

  2. 02

    Talk like your customers do

Not product demos. The kind of thing one of your customers would send to another one, with the product present rather than pitched. For Mucka that meant apprentice humour, not software language.

  3. 03

    One shoot, every platform

Each asset is cut for all three channels in the same session. Three feeds fed on roughly the output of one, which is what keeps it going when you get busy.

  4. 04

    Written for strangers

Every hook assumes the viewer has never heard of you, because almost all of them have not. That single decision is what took Mucka to 2.59 million accounts reached.

  5. 05

    Followers as a by-product

Reach is the target and the audience follows anyway. Mucka’s went up 221% in 28 days, landing at 90% men and 70% aged 25 to 44, which is the trades demographic almost exactly.

Proof

Tradespeople do not go looking for software and they do not respond to the language software companies use. The job was to earn attention from an audience that scrolls past anything that smells like an advert.

Are we a fit

Worth being honest about.

Content works when there is something real to point a camera at and someone willing to be in front of it. If neither is true, we will say so on the first call.

Probably not for you if

  • Nobody at the business will go on camera.
  • You need it to pay back inside a month.
  • Everything has to be signed off by committee.

A good fit if

  • You do work that is interesting to watch.
  • You want to be known, not just found.
  • You can give us a few hours a month.

Next step

Let us make something worth watching.

One call. We look at what you are posting now, tell you what we would change first, and you decide whether you want us to make it.
