A construction marketing agency that shows you the numbers

We read what every other construction marketing agency in the UK publishes on its main page. Across roughly eight thousand words, not one showed a single client figure. No cost per lead, no spend, no result. Just partnership, expertise and data-driven.

So here is ours, before we have asked you for anything. 360 leads at an average of £4.64 each. The Timber Design Studio, 28 June 2023 to 28 July 2026. Best campaign £2.04 a lead. Worst approach we tried, £53.13 a lead, switched off. 19 creative variants run to find the one that produced 230 of the leads.

Straight about it

Who we are and who we are not.

Knox Growth is a marketing agency working with construction and trade businesses across the UK. Founded by Nick Jenkinson and Jack Burgess, and we run the work ourselves. There is no account manager layer between you and the person running your campaigns, which is a deliberate choice about size rather than a claim about quality.

We are not right for you if you want a large team, a national brand campaign or a long strategy document. We are a reasonable fit if you want two or three channels run properly, reported honestly, by people who answer the phone. Most clients take two or three of the services below, not all six, and we will tell you which two.

Six services, most clients take two

What we do for construction businesses.

  1. 01

    Search

Getting a building firm found when someone nearby searches for the job they need doing. Google Business Profile, service pages, location pages and the technical work underneath. Delivered through our SEO service, with the method written out in full on our guide to SEO for builders.

  2. 02

    Paid advertising

Meta and Google, built to ask for the enquiry directly rather than send traffic somewhere and hope. That splits into our paid social service for demand you create and our paid search service for demand that already exists.

  3. 03

    Websites

A page per service, real photography of your own finished work, a form that asks four questions, and a load speed that survives a phone on site. Usually a rewrite rather than a rebuild.

  4. 04

    Content and photography

The raw material every other channel runs on, and the thing missing in almost every construction marketing programme we look at.

  5. 05

    Social media

It builds recognition and produces footage that makes paid campaigns cheaper. It rarely fills a diary on its own, which is why our social media management service is priced as support for the other channels rather than as a lead source.

  6. 06

    Enquiry handling

Knowing where every enquiry came from, replying quickly, and following up twice rather than once. That is our CRM and automation service, and it is usually the cheapest thing here to fix.

The Timber Design Studio

A timber frame design consultancy selling to self-builders, developers and manufacturers. Published figures for 28 June 2023 to 28 July 2026: 360 leads at an average of £4.64, 8,260 clicks at £0.20 each, 335,975 impressions, 148,300 people reached. Best campaign £2.04 a lead, best single ad £1.97. The lead form campaign produced 272 of the total and one creative produced 230. The unflattering part, included because leaving it out makes the rest less believable: a traffic campaign averaged £53.13 a lead. Same audience, wrong structure. We turned it off.

Mucka

Plant and machinery, organic video. Facebook video views from 7,500 to just over 10 million in 28 days. On Instagram, 4.33 million views over 90 days reaching 2.59 million accounts, 99.6 per cent of that reach from people who did not follow the account. On TikTok, 2.2 million views over twelve months. The honest caveat: those are views, not enquiries. Reach at that scale makes you the name people recognise when they search. It is not a lead channel.

Straight answers

Construction marketing agency: questions, answered plainly.

What does a construction marketing agency cost?

It depends on how many channels you run and how much building the website needs, so any figure quoted before someone has looked at your site is a guess. What drives it: the number of services you want pages for, the number of areas you cover, and whether you need creative produced.

How long before we see results?

Paid channels produce leads within days and become predictable at around ninety days. Organic search takes four to six months for meaningful volume, with first movement in local map results often in four to eight weeks.

Do you work with firms outside Sussex?

Yes. The work is remote and the principles are the same anywhere in the UK.

What if it does not work?

Then we say so, and why, at ninety days, with the numbers in front of us. The traffic campaign at £53.13 a lead above is what that looks like in practice.

Tell us what you build and where.

Send us your website address and the areas you cover. We will look at your Google listing, your page structure and the terms people search in your patch, and tell you the one thing holding you back. Half an hour, no charge.
